Quote from unseen :AFAIK, as a demo user you can`t download skins automatically, which means you can`t download other demo user`s skins. likewise they can`t download yours...

Soooo... Do what most of the rest of us have done, and beg, borrow, or actually buy a license, then you`re free from the worry that no-one will see the fantastic skin you`ve been working on for days/weeks/months

...as well as getting the many other tracks & cars in the full game, and making a whole load of new friends, etc

So the license is around 50 USD right? And is that for a month, year, or forever?

I was wondering if there is a possible way to get custom skins to show up while playing online?

Thanks

Quote from the_angry_angel :From that it sounds like your ISP is likely to be oversubscribed, or they throttle / packet shapre during "peak" hours.

Shouldnt do.. Does it output any text at all? What operating system are you running?

Assuming any recent (2000+) version of Windows, it should output something like:
C:\>tracert master.liveforspeed.net

If you're running linux, or any unix derivative, it'll be the "traceroute" command you're looking for, and will have similar output.

man this will really piss u off lol...

Sorry for making you go through all this trouble but I figured out what it was. I turned off my windows firewall but didn't turn off my Norton Internet Security firewall... lol

Quote from the_angry_angel :Does your ISP do any filtering, or port blocking at all? If you don't know, then it might be worth asking them, or posting your ISP's name.

If you run a traceroute to master.liveforspeed.net (start > run, type "cmd", click ok, type "tracert master.liveforspeed.net" and hit enter) does it resolve to an IP address? If so, does it stop inside the blueyonder network (i.e. does the last server it can successfully trace end in blueyonder.co.uk)?

When I do the run thing on mine and type in tracert master.liveforspeed.net and press enter, it skips to the next line.

am I doing something wrong?

Everytime I load up my game, and click multiplayer, and then view all races or whatever it is, it keeps on saying "Connection to Master Server" and it never does.

Whats up with that?
